The Aligarh Education Endowment Fund (AEEF) is dedicated to expanding access to quality education for underprivileged communities across India. Our mission is to enhance and modernize educational opportunities so that students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds can achieve their full potential.

AEEF is a registered non-profit, secular, non-partisan, and non-political organization, recognized under Section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Through scholarships, institutional partnerships, and educational development initiatives, we remain committed to serving those who need it most.
In recent years, India has made notable progress in expanding access to education, particularly through the Right to Education Act, which established free and compulsory education as a fundamental right and reinforced the nation’s commitment to inclusion, gender equity, and the upliftment of disadvantaged communities.
However, meaningful development and modernization cannot rely on government funding alone. Across India, alumni of leading institutions have strengthened their alma maters and also established or supported other educational institutions through scholarships, endowments, infrastructure development, and mentorship initiatives complementing public efforts and accelerating broader educational progress.
Inspired by this model, the alumni of Aligarh Muslim University and well-wishers recognized the need to organize and contribute in a structured, sustainable manner. This shared vision led to the establishment of the Aligarh Education Endowment Fund (AEEF) to mobilize support, expand educational opportunities, and empower underprivileged students through collective philanthropy and community commitment.
The purpose of AEEF is to mobilize resources and provide meaningful support to minority communities in India to enhance educational standards and strengthen educational infrastructure.
