Hamara
Coaching Centre
Hamara Coaching Centre, based at Hamara School, Aligarh, has been
dedicated
to supporting
underprivileged students academically over the past several years. The Centre
provides
free coaching, guidance, and counseling to approximately 110 students, helping
them
strengthen their academic performance and develop essential life skills.
This initiative aims to ensure that children from economically disadvantaged
backgrounds
have access to quality after-school education. With funding from AEEF, the
Centre is
expanding its resources, enhancing teaching facilities, and recruiting skilled
instructors to further improve learning outcomes.
Objectives
- Provide free academic
coaching to over 100 students.
- Upgrade learning
resources, including textbooks, teaching aids, and digital tools.
- Conduct regular
workshops on life skills, career guidance, and digital literacy.
- Administer weekly
tests for students in classes V to X to prepare them for school assessments and
competitive exams.
Goals
- Deliver high-quality,
free coaching for students from economically disadvantaged families.
- Improve academic
performance in key subjects such as Mathematics, Science, and English.
- Introduce life skills
and career development workshops to equip students for future success.
Key Achievements
Over the years, Hamara Coaching Centre has made notable progress:
- Students have
successfully qualified for admission tests at institutions such as Aligarh Muslim
University, Jamia Millia Islamia, and other government schools and colleges.
- Academic performance
has improved, reflected in higher test scores and better school retention rates.
- Guidance and
counseling programs have empowered students with communication, problem-solving, and
digital skills.
- Community engagement
has strengthened through regular parent-teacher meetings, fostering active
participation in students’ educational journeys.
